Presets In The Browser
Same day as the content robot, I made something totally different: a pair of standalone HTML files with WebGL in them, calling themselves the WebGL Preset Engine. A collection of presets with a controls overlay on top.
I've always loved music visualizers, Milkdrop and its presets, little shader programs on a fullscreen canvas reacting to whatever's playing. I wanted to see if the browser could do that without a build step, so it's just raw HTML. Two demo pages, September 2025, never published.
Six months later I wrote tish-shadertoy, which loads a fragment shader into a native OpenGL window with Milkdrop-style hotkeys from a TOML file. And Deckard, in 2026, ended up with a master scope drawn on canvas.
