Another Toolkit, Same Question
Nineteen days after the egui bindings I did it again with a different toolkit. At the end of March 2026 I made a Rust host that takes native Tish JSX and renders it through Floem.
It's marked experimental and work in progress, with a hello world and a kitchen sink, both compiled with the Tish compiler's Rust backend.
Floem is reactive and retained, and egui is immediate-mode, so getting the same JSX running on both was the interesting part. It showed the language layer wasn't tied to one toolkit.
In 2025 each new renderer meant a new project and bindings from scratch. By now the compiler, the JSX and the native backend were shared, so this one went fast. Milkish and tish-appkit followed within a month.
