A Dashboard For Myself

Every few years I build myself a new to-do list. The July 2025 version was an admin panel: Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind and shadcn/ui, built over a couple of days.

Tasks with status, priority, due dates and tags. Tiptap for writing notes in markdown right on the page. Table management for the parts that are really just rows. dnd-kit so I could drag things into the order I wanted. I built it to be modular, as a set of admin pieces I could reuse, with tasks as the first thing on top. Pretty much every client project needs a table with filters, an editor and a drag handle.

It stopped after a couple of weeks, but I kept the components.
