devin.la
Two later versions of my personal site: a 2015 build on my Tipsy PHP framework with OAuth login, and a 2020 rewrite in Next.js with highlight.js and Luxon, deployed on Vercel.

Rebuilding My Own House
Every few years I tear down my own site and rebuild it, and December 2014 was one of those times. The beta ran on Tipsy, the PHP micro framework I wrote, with OAuth login added. I wanted my own framework running a real site, and Tipsy held up.
Six years later I did it again. December 2020: Next.js, highlight.js for the code blocks, Luxon for the dates, deployed to Vercel.
My Personal Sloppy Code Of A Site
I called this one my personal sloppy code of a site, and that was accurate. It started on December 23rd 2010 as a PHP codebase split into an include directory and a www directory.
devin.la was live under the title "Devin Smith" by early January 2011, about three weeks after I started, and then I kept fiddling with it for three years. I was the PHP architect at a VFX studio during the day and running a mobile giving platform on the side, and this was the thing I did for myself. I stopped at the end of 2013. Later versions of devin.la were built from scratch, because when I redo my site I start over.
