RolePost Community is an online forum for posting and creating your own role playing worlds. Featuring roles from Marvel characters to Tolkien. I designed, created the layout, designed the graphics, and developed the backend of this site. RolePost uses a form of Gemini, my CMS, 4 and a custom PHP forum.

People wanted to write stories together and the software for it was bad, so I built some. RolePost was a community for posting and creating your own role playing worlds, with roles from Marvel characters to Tolkien. I did the whole thing: layout, graphics, backend.
It ran on Gemini, my own CMS, with a custom PHP forum. Gemini was built for pages and news, and RolePost needed threads, worlds, characters and the people running them. phpBB existed, but a role playing world doesn't fit a flat list of topics, so I wrote my own.
rolepost.com was up by March 2004 and still going in 2019. I built it early in the ArzDev years, and the community kept it running for well over a decade after I stopped working on it.
