Connect a wallet, see what it owns, do something with the pictures. In early September 2023 I built wear3 in two days: Next.js 13, RainbowKit and wagmi for the wallet connection, Tailwind for the UI, and API routes that hit Alchemy and OpenSea to look up the NFTs an address holds.
The name was the idea: wear them, not just view them. The plan was somewhere between avatars and actual merch.
I'd built an NFT platform back in the summer of 2021. By 2023 wallet connection was a drop-in component and metadata lookup was two vendor APIs, which is why the whole thing fit in two days. I didn't take it further.
