tish.sh is a CodePen-style playground for Tish. You edit .tish files in a multi-buffer editor, hit Run, and the same browser tab compiles and executes the code — the compiler and the VM are both WebAssembly, so there is no backend, no build step on your machine and no account.
Sharing works without a server too. Share encodes the whole pen — every file — into the URL fragment, so anyone opening the link gets the same sandbox. Embed produces an snippet that drops the sandbox into any blog post or doc page in a compact mode with no chrome and no persistence. Opening someone else's pen is read-only until you Fork it, at which point edits start saving to your own local storage. A sandbox can pop out into its own window and stay in sync over a BroadcastChannel, and there is a menu of starter pens to begin from.
The playground itself is small: a preset of about a hundred and fifty lines on top of SandboxIde from tish-ide-panels, which holds the editor, terminal, web preview, file browser, layout splits, hotkeys, persistence and the share and fork logic. The same component is embedded in the learn.tishlang.com lessons and can be hosted in the desktop IDE, so changes to the playground show up in all three. Each panel can be swapped out — replace the editor with CodeMirror, say — without touching the rest.
