Nuxt AI Resume
Nuxt 3 app that generates resumes with the OpenAI API, renders them as Vue pages and exports PDFs via md-to-pdf, with Vercel Postgres for storage and a random-resume endpoint. Deployed to Vercel.

A Resume On Demand
Ask the OpenAI API for a resume, render it as a Vue page, run it through md-to-pdf, and hand back a file. I built it in mid-October 2023 on Nuxt 3, storing what it made in Vercel Postgres, deployed to Vercel.
My favorite endpoint is the random one: hit a route and get a resume for a person who doesn't exist. Generated resumes are pretty funny in bulk, and since every result was saved, there was a growing back catalog.
The PDF export renders to markdown and lets md-to-pdf handle the page, which gave me a real file with real margins.
I worked on it for three days, during a fall where I was starting something new about every week.
