It Says The Name Out Loud
One page, one afternoon in April 2016. Mooshi glued random syllables together into a plausible pet name, spoke it out loud through ResponsiveVoice, and gave you a new one every refresh. Static files on GitHub Pages behind a custom domain.
The speech is what made it funny. The browser voice reads the name badly, with the stress on the wrong syllable, and it got me every time. The refresh button was the whole interface.
It came out of the same stretch as the other tiny GitHub Pages experiments that spring, when I was mostly building client products at the studio and wanted something just for fun.
