Karma, a social app for giving karma to people nearby ('conversations, not data'): an Ionic/Cordova mobile app with a Node/Express server for users, karma, conversations, locations and avatars, live over socket.io, rebuilt several times on Ionic 2.

Conversations Not Data
The tagline was "conversations, not data." Karma let you give karma to people near you, a small social app built around proximity and giving someone credit. The models were users, karma, conversations, locations and avatars.
I started it on February 19th, 2016, days after Agency Enterprise officially became a company. The app was Ionic and Cordova, and the backend was Node and Express with MongoDB through Mongoose, socket.io for the live parts and JWT for auth. That was my whole 2016 toolkit. It went through several Ionic 2 rewrites, since the framework kept changing underneath me.
It stopped on May 12th, 2016, after three months of nights while the studio was getting going. The socket and JWT patterns I worked out here went straight into the next few things I built.
