Less Noise In HipChat
Crunchbutton lived in HipChat in 2013, and GitHub was posting a message for everything. Close an issue and the room got a message. Comment on it and it got another. With a team shipping fast, it was a lot.
So one evening in November I wrote a small Express service that grouped issue closings and their comments and sent them to HipChat as a single notification, with an install script to add the event services. The npm name was cb-gh-hc.
The team used it until HipChat went away. I never touched it again after that night.
