MinorCMS, With Feeling
Four months after setting up osCommerce for a comic book client, another comic book client showed up, and this time I used my own thing. SBIComics ran on MinorCMS, a small PHP and MySQL system I wrote.
The routing was the same trick I used everywhere that year: take the request URI, chop the leading slash, turn plus signs into spaces, explode on slashes, and that's your path. Then mysql_pconnect, a persistent connection opened in the config file at include time.
I still like the name. Minor, as opposed to a major CMS. Gemini was my serious one; this was for jobs that needed pages, a database and not much else.
