Crux Gallery, Granite Bay
The header comment read osGallery version 2.0, also known as Crux Gallery, all source code copyright Devin Smith of Arzy LLC. Under it was the setup: a Smarty instance with compile_check on, a theme called granite_bay, and a site URL pointed at arzbeta.com/crux2, my staging box. Then display index.tpl.
Everything else lived in the templates. My idea was that a photo gallery is a themed page over a folder of images, so it builds a thumbnail cache and hands the rest to templates, and people could make their own skins. There was a cache split into compile, cache and images, Smarty bundled in, and a themes folder.
It went up on SourceForge two days later as osgallery. I kept osgallery.com running until at least 2012, long after I stopped working on the code.
