Copied Before Every Change
I versioned devin-smith.com the way I versioned everything back then: _VERYOLD, 2009.06.16, 2011.01.05. Before changing anything, I copied the whole site to a new folder with the date on it.
The 2009 build is a PHP site with an inc, cache and public_html layout. In 2008 the page title was "Devin Smith - Powered by osGallery v2.0," so my personal site was running my own open source gallery software.
The site goes back to March 2004. I kept picking up other versions of my name too: devinsmith.mobi in 2013, and devin-smith.net much later.
