Crux, Copied Over
Late January 2004, four days of work. ClassicStar needed a photo section, so I set up Crux Gallery, the PHP and MySQL gallery I'd written for myself: a config file, themes, a schema to load, and then their pictures.
I'd spent the previous couple of years writing my own stuff, a portal engine, a file manager, a gallery, so when someone needed a photo section it took an afternoon: copy the tree, edit the config, import the SQL, restyle the theme, hand it over.
This was the very start of the Utah years, the same month AspenTreeMedia had me converting a ColdFusion Flash Remoting backend to PHP for the Utah Sports Commission. Days were Flash, evenings were ArzDev and jobs like this.
