A Maid Service, Version Two
A week after I finished a Usenet importer for myself in 2005, I was building a website for a maid service.
Aarmade. This was version two. It was PHP over a sliced Photoshop layout: design the page as an image, cut it up, put it back together in a table, then add the dynamic parts. Each cleaner got a profile page, and there was an admin so the client could add and edit them without calling me. That was what ArzDev sites were back then: you get a site and a place to log in and change it.
I was in Utah, Owl Technology had just brought me on for RadioRadio, and AspenTree Flash work was still going on the side. This was a small local business job, fixed price, a week of evenings. March 13 to March 20 and done.
