Big Brother Grows A Fork
Big Brother was the project and resource manager I'd built inside Luma, and by spring 2011 it needed a successor. Instead of starting over, I forked Colaby, the lightweight ticket tracker I'd pulled out of my own parts of Big Brother four months earlier, and pointed it back at the studio. It became the next generation production tracker.
That fork ran from April 2011 to August 2012, with build and CLI tooling, some node pieces and SQL migrations. Only people inside the studio ever used it.
It's a good picture of my Luma years: Colaby came out of Big Brother, then went back into it under a new name. I was still working on it in August 2012, four months after I'd left for Crunchbutton.
