Give, Rebuilt On Lumen
I was CTO of Give.mobi from 2008 to 2012: charity donations by phone, CharityCall, a whole company. In July 2015, three years into Crunchbutton, I sat down one day and rebuilt it.
Laravel Lumen 5.1 for the backend, Mailgun for email, and the original give-dot-mobi-beta code next to it for reference. Lumen was new that year, Laravel's stripped-down microframework for APIs. It was an experiment, not a relaunch. I was curious what something I'd worked on for four years would look like on a stack that didn't exist back then.
