Version Four, October
cockpit4 was version four of Cockpit, the admin tool all of Crunchbutton ran on. By October 2015 the driver side needed its own app instead of a page in a browser.
It was a Cordova hybrid app. The parts that were mine were the scripts around it: build.php, create-icons.php (so I never had to make forty icon sizes by hand again), createapp.sh and release_android.sh.
Drivers were the users I thought about most. They're outside, in a car, with a phone in one hand and food in the other, and they're the first to notice when dispatch is wrong. I worked on it from October to January. Crunchbutton later open sourced everything, Cockpit included.
