A Product Gets A Domain
The file manager had been a hobby with a name for years. In October 2008 I gave it a site: a hosted account for osfilemanager.com and a small PHP site to explain the script and let people download it.
It also got renamed. Libra File Manager had been my personal project name, and osFileManager was a name people could actually find by searching for what they needed. The site was up within a couple of weeks and stayed up into the 2020s.
I made my last change in late February 2009, four months later, and after that it just served downloads. This was the end of the freelance and hosting years, while FriendBot was paying the bills and Give.mobi was starting.
