The Web Side Of An MMORPG
Six days into 2007 I set up hosting for luxaeternia.com: forums, an admin, and a custom CMS underneath. It was the web side of Zepa Studios' MMORPG, and I was hosting it as well as building it, so if the forums went down it was my phone that rang.
I'd started working with Zepa two and a half years earlier as their senior programmer and R&D lead, working remotely for the Canadian studio, learning C++ to prototype an MMO. Lux Aeternia's site was up by February 2007.
I became the person the game folks called whenever they needed the non-game part built.
