Post-It On Your Headphones
The headphone rule: headphones on means don't talk to me. The trouble is some people wear headphones all day for music and still want to be interrupted, so it stops meaning much. The fix is to put a post-it on your headphones. Headphones alone are just headphones. Headphones plus a post-it means come back later.
This is the one-page site explaining that, a follow-up to headphonesrule.com, built in Next.js in May 2022 with a GSAP marquee scrolling across it. The animation took me longer than a joke page should. We did a bunch of these at the studio: buy the domain, make the case, put it up in an afternoon. Dark Mode First was the same kind of thing a year earlier.
