Twelve Dollars, Well Spent
The title tag said it all: i wasted 12 dollars on this domain just so i could have a landing page. Under it, a looping video, and nothing else. Two days in May 2022, and I never touched it again.
It was the same hackathon weekend as the rainbow-text site, so I bought at least two joke domains in forty-eight hours. It's a Next.js build, since by then that was the fastest way for me to get something on a URL.
I was Director of Technology Innovation at the time, and my job was finding the next thing and prototyping it. That meant a lot of hackathons, nine in about a year. Some turned into products a client's team took over. This one was just for fun.
