Bitcoin, October 2017
In October 2017 everyone was talking about bitcoin, me included. Blankbox was what came out of it: a Create React App front end, an Express and Mongo backend, and a pile of notes about which exchange APIs would answer.
block_io handled wallet operations. apibtc, my Bitcoin API client, covered whatever the hosted ones wouldn't do. PhantomJS, driven through Horseman, scraped the pages that had no API at all. SpectroCoin and Luno were the exchanges.
The idea was a small service that watches coin prices, takes bitcoin, and does something in between. I worked on it from October 5th to November 2nd. Blankbox didn't go anywhere.
