Beer Please
A 'buy me a beer' payment app (beerplease.co) that takes beer payments through Stripe, built on my Tipsy PHP framework with a one-click Heroku deploy. A private 2012 version predates the 2015 Stripe/Tipsy rewrite.

Not Really Beer
On May 1, 2012 I started Beer Please. The idea was that a client could send me a beer instead of me sending an invoice. Really it was a payment form with a counter on it.
The first version was private, built on Cana. In late November 2015 I rewrote the whole thing on Tipsy, my next PHP framework, hooked it up to Stripe, and added a Deploy to Heroku button so anyone could run their own. v1.0.0 on November 29, v2.0.0 the next day, v2.1.0 in January 2016. Setup was four steps, and all four were basically "go get your Stripe keys."
The page at beerplease.co pluralized itself in Angular, "Send Devin beer{{beers > 1 ? 's' : ''}}", above a button that did the same. Under it was the disclaimer: "Not really beer. Just a $5 per quantity payment." The footer said "Created with Beer Please, an opensource payment project powered by Tipsy" and "Made with love by Devin."
