A Second Painter
A year after the William Wray site, Loic came back with another painter and another documentary. This one was about Jeremy Mann, out of Oakland, and it was called A Solitary Mann. A film by Loic Zimmermann.
I built it the same way as the last one: static AngularJS on GitHub Pages, at asolitarymann.com. Synopsis, trailer, gallery, soundtrack and news. angular-carousel handled the images, Instafeed pulled Instagram, and codebird pulled Twitter.
I kept working on it from October 2015 through July 2016, a lot longer than Gamma Wray took, mostly because the news page kept getting festival dates and screenings. I was deep in Crunchbutton at the time and still happy to spend evenings on it. It was a nice break, working on a film for someone whose design I trust.
