The Very Secretive Life

I usually describe the studio's client work as a very secretive life, ninja even, because most of it is under someone else's name. It starts here: a data science project in June 2015, months before we had even renamed ourselves.

After that it's a decade of other people's products. Carl's Jr got an Ionic app in October 2016. Publisher Desk came in early 2017. Samsung NEXT got a portal, and then a recovery project in June 2019. Krabot's storefront in Next.js in 2020. Sameday went serverless that same fall. Asist was a mobile app that went out as an alpha. BeClear in 2021. Gratz through 2021 and 2022, plus a hackathon fork of it.

A Version Tag Called Alpha

The tag reads v00.1-alpha, with two zeros. It went on the Asist mobile app at the end of September 2020, and the app had already been in development for nearly a year, so this wasn't a beginning. It's just when a long running client app got a version number.

I keep the client work together as one thing. A Carl's Jr Ionic app in 2016. Publisher Desk in 2017. The Samsung NEXT recovery in 2019. Krabot's storefront in Next.js. Sameday, serverless. Asist. BeClear. Gratz. And underneath all of it, data science work going back to June 2015, before Agency Enterprise had the name.

Almost none of it got tagged. We deployed, the client used it, and the version was whatever was in production. This alpha tag is the exception.
