The pitch was one sentence: the easiest way for your non-profit to have and maintain a web, social and mobile presence. Kutosy was a hosted platform for small organizations that needed a site, social accounts and something on a phone, and couldn't afford an agency to put it all together. PHP, running on Tipsy.
It came straight out of the years before. From 2008 I'd been CTO at Give.mobi and CharityCall, selling mobile giving to charities, and the software and website were developed by Arzy, LLC, which was me.
That only covered giving. Clients kept asking who would build their actual website, so I built a product for that.
