Cluckbutton

Cluckbutton is a game I created for Crunchbutton just for the hell of it. Crunchbutton provides online food delivery to select areas. By playing the game you are offered discounts on your orders.

A Chicken With A Career
The chicken came before the game. Cluckbutton started in 2012 as a joke brand off of Crunchbutton. In 2014 I built a game for it while I was at Crunchbutton, mostly because I wanted to, and then came up with the business reason: play it and you get discounts on your order.
Nobody asked for a video game at a food delivery company. I wanted to make one, and we already had the mascot. The site called itself "Some silly games by Crunchbutton."
Cluckbutton went from a Flappy Bird clone in Java to a Unity tap game to a WebGL build, and the Unity version was the first thing I'd shipped in a game engine since Zepa. Everything I did in Unity afterward, the space shooter, the pet game, the turn based prototype, goes back to this chicken. Crunchbutton later open sourced the whole platform.
